Barguse Riding Centre 'Pony Club' Centre membership

We are pleased to announce that we are now a pony club centre member which means that during the forthcoming year we will be running various activities for members. In order to participate in these activities, your child would need to join The Pony Club and become a centre member.
This costs £22 for the year and application forms can be obtained from us.

The aim of The Pony Club is to encourage young people to ride and enjoy all kinds of sport connected to horses and riding. It teaches young people the importance of proper care of their animals and aims to promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty. The Pony Club Centre membership is open to anyone under 21 years of age who either does not own a pony or cannot attend branch rallies due to lack of horse transport.
Membership also includes third party insurance.

Membership will enable your child to take part in achievement badge work, there are over 40 badges.
Pony Club tests up to AH standard (including the riding and road safety test), progressive tests in riding and horsemanship and the opportunity to compete in rallies and competitions throughout the year.
We will be running a badge evening once a month at a cost of £5 where your children can work towards each individual badge at their own pace.
Rallies and competitions will be run throughout the holidays with Pony Club centre members receiving reduced entry fees.
Sweatshirts will be available to purchase so that all the badges can be sewn on.

So, if you think that your child would like the opportunity to meet new friends, improve their riding skills and have fun, ask in the office for an enrolment form.
