May Newsletter

Lisa and Celena

Welcome to our May newsletter. Apologies for the late arrival of our April one but there was a slight technical hitch! Anyway, we have enjoyed a really busy April with lots of activities taking place throughout the Easter period including our first Open Day which was blessed with gorgeous weather.

It was a great start to our fundraising endeavours for our charity. This month is equally as busy as we are not only hosting both a jumping and dressage clinic but we also start our summer jumping and dressage series. All details can be found below and on our website.

We are also in the process of adding and refreshing parts of the website so do check it out!

Open Day

Barguse Open Day

25th April
Our Open Day in April gave our charity, the Barguse Charitable Trust a great kick start where we raised more than £200. We met up with both old and new faces and gave people the chance to have a go at horse riding. In the next few months we are planning more fundraising events and the pony rides were so popular that we are likely to run that again during the summer holidays. We currently have lots of merchandise to purchase in aid of the charity which can be found in the office and eventually on line including a lovely gilt lapel badge. If anyone would like to purchase any item, please pop in and check out the range.

Your support and donations are vital in helping us to get on with the practical side of the charity so any donation regardless of how small would be greatly appreciated..

Competition Winner

Congratulations to Shannon Udy who has won herself a Barguse sweatshirt. Shannon correctly identified that the left hand side is the normal side that you would mount up from. Please keep an eye on the home page for the next competition!
